Urban 5 doc

Things are moving along nicely on the documentary. We are in talks with musicians who will be scoring the soundtrack and have just about finished all the shooting. Soon we will be into the editing process where the biggest hurdle will be what to cut out because it's all so riveting. We are also almost to our deadline on our kickstarter fundraising campaign so now is the time to contribute. Filmed some more for our doc last night at the red feather gala hosted by the Okc Indian clinic. Great event, great art, great cause and some damn fine food. It was cool to see how many artists have joined the cause.

Avid upgrade! It Rocks!

I upgraded to the new version of Avid. I am thrilled with what is new. The new way to work with p2 media is great. Instead of importing p2 and then importing media and duplicating everything, now with the AMA feature you click on the card and there it is in the bin ready to edit. No wait, no duplication. From what i have read it also corrects the media offline issues. Oh and did i mention you can work with different frame rates in the same timeline? I am so excited. Totally geeking out. I will post more as I find other great things. In love with Avid once more. Sorry Mac fans, No final cut switchover for me anytime soon.

Hallet Post production

The Hallett shoot went great. The team we were working with, SSR engineering out of Manhatten, Ks, were Awesome. We got the editing job while out there which is great because we got some great stuff and it will be a blast to edit.

We head to Hallett, Oklahoma tomorrow to shoot a PSA and a Reality T.V. Pilot at the Hallett Motor Racing Circuit http://www.hallettracing.net/ . Should be a great time. I used to go to these races when I was a kid. This is a very life coming full circle moment for me. If you have never gone to one of these smaller racetracks you should. It's what racing is really all about.
